The hotel at Wroxall Abbey has reopened to guests for the first time in nearly two years. The house constructed by Robert Burgoyne (d 1613) incorporated elements of the C12 priory (all listed grade II*) which were retained as picturesque ruins when Dugdale demolished the house in 1866. When Trinity first took over at Wroxall they spent the first month gutting the interior of the hotel. Location of this list entry and nearby places that are also listed.
